This session is for users of display screen equipment. Participants will leave the session with an understanding of the hazards, risks, controls and company policy on display screen use
Participants will leave with an understanding of the dangers of electricity, relevant legislation, how to carry out and record basic user checks in the work place
Participants will be taught the role of a Fire Marshall on a daily basis and during emergencies. They will leave trained in a new role ready to help protect work colleagues
Participants will leave with an understanding of the fundamental principles of the COSHH regulations, how substances can be hazardous and how to prevent exposure
Participants will leave understanding the implications of noisy workplaces and how to use preventative measures including hearing protection
Participants will leave with an understanding of what risk assessment is and the role they play in helping the organisation to manage risks to health and safety
Participants will leave understanding what ‘work at height’ is, the associated hazards and risks, and how to control the risk.
